It does a great job of keeping the area muck free although periodically I use a push broom to try and rid the area of accumulated leaves and debris. It is impossible to move though...the force of water prevents lifting. Also avoid the plastic grid type edge as it is very sharp and will cut feet. Overall very pleased with the product.

Muck Mat allows us to walk in the lake without sinking plus it eliminated all the weeds! We turned our nasty lake shore into a beautiful beach we can actually use.

Better at the Beach The Lake Mat has changed the swimming experience for our family at our pond. It is no longer slippery,and the sharp Little Rock’s are covered by the mat. My kids can play at the beach and wade into the water. Before we would have a ham at the dock latter, and water shoes had to be worn.
