Very easy to order, even had a discount that I could use to save $10 on my first order. 5 stars so far. I had a great experience using this… I had a great experience using this company, Spores look amazing! Shipping was super fast and they give me a free syringe… I couldn’t ask for more, thank you guys I will use you in the future and definitely recommend! When I emailed them they got back to me right away and we’re kind and courteous and very helpful.

I am a first time mushroom grower and… I am a first time mushroom grower and ordered from HDS on a recommendation from friend. Ordered spore syringe, grain jars, and bulk substrate. Got the order and inoculated the grain. Packing slip indicated I had ordered 15 pounds of substrate and shipped in 1 package. I did not weigh the package of substrate since I've never seen it before. Time came to load my fruiting chamber and I had one 5 pound package of substrate. Tried to get the other two packages and a so-called "customer service" rep named Kay Townsend was confrontational, rude and accused me of lying. You will not find a telephone number for this outfit and e-mail correspondence is slow if you get any at all. Still waiting to hear what her "fraud department" investigation turned up. I will be contacting my credit card to get back the money for the substrate I did not receive. Stay away from HDS, there are many other options out there--use those. UPDATE: HDS eventually came thru with a nice "care package" to accommodate their mistake-it was quite generous. E-mail response is slow, though and I couldn't find any telephone number to call.
