Heart-Filling Connecting with the community in the area we were serving was heart-filling. We didn't see only the family we built houses for, we didn't see only the patients at the clinic, we didn't see only the students at the school-- but we saw their neighbors and their friends. Sharing this experience of navigating a different country with a different culture with our youngest two daughters was incredible- they came home talking about wanting to share their faith more boldly and being appreciative for what they have at home. I came home recognizing I need to spend more time sitting and being thankful & content with what God has entrusted me with in this season.
