Unreal experience Unreal experience! Best decision of my life! I learned so much about my faith and how I can better interact with God. I was lost but now am found and along the way made some lifelong friends and they taught me where I find God the most and how to connect with him. I learned that love overcomes all things and that community and who you surround yourself with influence you more than you can understand. I cannot thank everyone involved in this trip enough for helping me grow in my faith and general outlook of my future! It has been a blessing to be a part of such an amazing opportunity!

Keep the main thing the main thing Overall immersion is a wonderful program and it truly does work. An experience is what you make it, if you are focused on all the negatives you will miss everything else. It’s important to remember that you are there to serve the Lord. It’s not about you it’s about Him. Keep the Main thing the Main thing and you will be blessed beyond your wildest dreams.

Good Trip, Good People The only reason that I am giving four stars was because I was frustrated with feeling like I was clueless as to what was happening with the budget. It was a Covid year so I do understand the difficulties but I just wish that it was more transparent with us. Other than that I loved the experience. Experience Mission was a great way to see the body of Christ in action. EM provides all the opportunities for YOU to make the best of your trip.

Count the Cost. It’s Still Worth It. The Lord used this time to point out areas of my life that needed to change. Being surrounded by imperfect but committed believers in a new environment is a bigger blessing than you can imagine. I hope that if you read this, that you choose to set aside time to break from the rush of American life. It’s worth it. I promise.

My time serving on an IMMERSIAN team… My time serving on an IMMERSIAN team was the most transformational experience of my life. Taking time to step away from the pace of life in the U.S. and learning that other cultures have a lot to offer, some of which cannot be put into words, changed me for the better. I encourage anyone and who is looking to serve the kingdom, or even just looking for an intercultural experience to do so through EM. You will never be the same. And you’ll never regret it.
