Shady side to the Paani Project Although the water wells they may be building might be legit, the orphan programme they collect funding for left a few questions that needed answering. I had tried reaching out to them on facebook, even emailed them asking these questions and got no response. Since building wells doesn't really require premises like an orphanage, I wanted to know how they were finding these orphans, if there was an upper limit to how many orphans they had access to. It's been a good 5 days and although the messages are read on facebook chat messenger, zero response. Word to the wise, just because they may be building wells, when it comes to other charitable work, please do your due diligence and ask the right questions and get the answers needed before you proceed. Not sure what they are up to, but if a bad review is what it takes to get a response from them, then they are shady. I have the messenger chats and the email should proof be required. EDIT : As predicted, the team contacted me saying they received an email from trustpilot about me posting a review, how could they further help? When I asked them to answer my original question's, they had no answer. If I had any doubts before, they just confirmed them.

Peace of mind now when donating knowing it's actually making a difference Family member recommended paaniproject and I couldn't be more grateful. I have more ease knowing the money is going directly to those in need, specifically with the updates given when I do make a donation. I love that the organization takes the time to thank you for your contribution and actually explain to you the impact or work they did with your donation. SubhanAllah, truly wish all the success for paaniproject, May Allah SWT continue to pour barakah in the organization and all parties involved in making it happen

Aftab Rizvi, a Pakistani living in the UK In Pakistan 'tube well' is called a well in which an electric motor pulls water from the ground and a hand pump is a pump which is operated by hand to pull water. In March 2021 I happen to hear about Paani Project saying that they do 5 tube wells for $1000 in Pakistan. I paid the amount and after 2 months I got a photo of a hand pump with joyful gathering of people with a portable plaque with the name of sister (which I believe was removed after the photo session.) I would have been happy even they had built a single tube well with a permanent fixed plaque of my sister's name but they did not do that. I have contacted the Paani Project to obtain the location details of these wells but didn't get any response. Disappointing service from a company who claim to do good service.

I heard about PaaniProject from friends… I heard about PaaniProject from friends and family. I went ahead and made a donation for my mother who died in 2012. The Organization is really good. They kept me informed of the entire process and sent me pictures and video of the entire process. It took approximately 2 months for the project to be completed. I was delighted to see that my Sadka Jaria was being utilized by people and community in need. It made my day. The PaaniProject staff was very transparent and provided all the documents and proof showing the actual project being built from start to finish. I will continue to donate to this great organization in the future. It’s one of the best ways to gain good deeds for yourself and your loved ones who have passed away. I highly recommend them. May Allah sunhan O Tallah give them continued success for this great cause. Ameen

Alhumdulillah Alhumdulillah, I am filled with so much happiness and gratitude today. The people that are dedicated to the Paani project make dreams become reality. My family and I had tears of happiness being able to provide a well for people who deserve so much more in the world than just water, especially in the name of our loved ones. But the most important thing to see was how even receiving the most basic necessity a human being should have (water) brought so much happiness to a community filled with nothing but smiles was beautiful beyond imagination! Thank you Paani for making us all feel connected again. Insh Allah can’t wait to do more projects with you guys!
