Although people have signed petitions… Although people have signed petitions in front of me and gone through the process of verifying, they are not a robot. The application does not update with their signature nor does it increase the ticker as to the number of people signing the petition!

Avaaz has always represented all kind of people, and they continously inform and involve the members and those interested. I know there has been and is a certain unbalance regarding e.g. the Middle East, but no worry - you are always welcome to make your own petition! And like anyone else, I can simply choose what to sign and what not to sign. I never got any spam from them. I have supported 7-8 causes without problems. I also supported monthly for 2 years, and had to stop 2 years ago. I emailed them, and they cancelled my monthly payment. I startet again 6 months ago, because they do a highly important job.
