GBThis is a scam website This is a scam website. Man with asian accent will tell you he is from the BT Technical Department and ask you to go onto it and tell you your internet speed is too low. Then ask you to press consent at which stage the site you are on will steal all of your information. I didn't do this this time as I got caught about 5 years with a similar scam who sillily I allowed to take control on my pc and it never worked the same again. AVOID AVOID AVOID

GBIt says I got a 35 mbps speed but I… It says I got a 35 mbps speed but I don’t have, many times internet is working very low but speednet.net says I have normal speed. This I checked from different devices. The website was recommended by Vodafone when I complained about the internet speed

GBSpeedtest only shows the Highest speed achieved Speedtest only shows the absolute maximum reached at any point during the test. It needs to show your average speed to be useful to any real degree at all. My test showed speeds between 30-40 except for the last second or two of the test - then it jumped to about 100. Speedtest reported my speed as 100. I watched the whole test and with an average of between 30-40, to report only the speed at the very end is not honest or accurate at all. Use Speedof.me - it does several tests and shows the average speed of all of them combined. Much more accurate and honest. I've tried both several times over a few weeks. The speeds reported are not even close. Speedtest.net always shows exaggerated much higher speeds than what I really get consistently.

GBIndian lady called me with a dreadful… Indian lady called me with a dreadful script claiming to be from the wrong isp, so she transfered me to her "senior supervisor", and indian guy, who told me to go to speedtest dot net, once i refused, he told me to go "fX$& my Sister" and went on a diatribe of things he would love to do to my mother and family. He then had the audacity to fully change modes and ask if i needed a deal on a holiday to the maldives, to which i declined. Before parting ways i called him a conman & he told me he had to go as he has more people to take money from. The call originated from this number 01923267565 Sounded like he was calling from a very large call centre

GBBlatantly trying to scam Random Indian call center claimed to be from TalkTalk and that they were trying to check my internet speed issues. I am not with TalkTalk and the speed check was good, but I wanted to see what I could get from them. They first get you to use TalkTalk's valid site, then they want you to visit www (dot) speedtest (dot) net (which I now think is actually okay). However they will try and get you to install some screen share type program or offer you a refund i.e. Get you to give them your account details. After stringing them along for a while they realised I was not going to fool for it and swore at me for wasting their time, which I think means I won.
