USWeak hood spring with optics cover… There was a notice on the website about expecting a delay in orders up to 10 days. After 15 days I had to email to check on order status. After an additional delay in shipping I received my holster. In one of CompTac’s YouTube videos detailing and introducing the CT3 holster, Gordon Carroll the HSG GM, makes a point of the holster hood making an audible “CLICK” when released. My holster has an optics cover and when the hood is released, the hood does not “click” open nor does it open completely. If the optics cover is not closed, the hood will open fully. I believe the spring in the hood is too weak for both the hood and optics cover. This makes me concerned regarding longevity, if the spring is weak now, how will the hood and optics cover release fully years from now?
