Visual clarity, color accuracy, the durability of the lens, as well as the quality of the coating is something I'm willing to pay a premium for. It's very stressful when you're at an optical store spending more than an hour being sold too many mediocre and complicated options. I learned about this brand through one of the top eyewear brands I admire as they're moving from Zeiss to Tajima. I loved the purchasing process, the rep (Jacob) was super helpful and kind, the visual quality is superb. I ended up purchasing two sets of lenses, optical and suns. I'm excited to find new frames to add Tajima lenses. Thanks all!

I have worn and enjoyed Kanon… I have worn and enjoyed Kanon sunglasses for years but I always wanted a darker shade for bright sunshine days. Steve Rosenberg - who I have known for many years - recommended the Tajima gray silver mirror lens. They are a shade darker and give me better protection in the bright sun! Rocky start... superb finish! I ordered lenses to install myself however they didn't fit. Thats the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I emailed the founder Jacob and he immediately apologized and asked me to send them back with the frames for a precise cut and install. Just got them back and they are on point! he was responsive and fast. I wish they had the "Persol" writing on the lenses but that's okay.. these are great quality and super clear. I would use them again for sure!
