My Alignable Experience I have been an Alignable member for 2+ years and a Premium member for the last 15 months. The members, groups, posts, connections, etc. have been a great experience. My business is up more than 25%. I would also like to recognize the entire Alignable team for listening to the members' suggestions and continuously improving the platform.

I have gotten 234 emails in 10 months from them because they have a terrible model where they email everyone in a person's email contacts, which is anyone they've had any email exchange with, even if it was transactional. Sure, the person has to accept that they will do this, but even still, as a person who doesn't have an account, why do I keep getting these emails? A decent model would've been to stop after 10 emails if the person hasn't signed up. Finally unsubscribed from these emails. Note: When you unsubscribe, it only unsubscribes you from that type of email, not all emails, so you'll still get a ton. Make sure you go to email settings on the unsubscribe page and select "Receive No Notifications." They even went too far with not letting people truly unsubscribe easily.

Alignable Read the Fine Print in the terms These terms of agreement sound nefarious- as an art dealer - all pictorial uploads would be at risk of fraud. The question here is WHY would they want to commercialize your content or prepare derivative works? of the 8.5 million I would bet millions never read the terms. It sounds suspect and self serving. The kind of thing where you might see your photo on a billboard in Russia- READ this. Additionally, you grant Alignable a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, unlimited, assignable, sublicenseable, fully paid up and royalty-free right to copy, prepare derivative works of, improve, distribute, publish, remove, retain, add, process, analyze, use and commercialize, in any way now known or in the future discovered, any information you provide, directly or indirectly, to Alignable, including, but not limited to, any user generated content, publicly available online information used by Alignable to populate your profile, ideas, concepts, techniques or data (but excluding email addresses), without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or to any third parties. Any information you submit to us is at your own risk of loss.

Alignable checks all the boxes for Business Networking I love Alignable. I think it's the number one site for any business, and a genius discovery. I have been out of the loop recently, but I'm looking forward to the abundance of Networking opportunities and speaking with businesses. I seriously cannot think of anything that needs to be improved or that I don't care for. Alignable checks all the boxes.
