Importance of Networking! It was really great talking to amazing like minded crowd. Networking is something I really didn't know the importance of. But, by attending this event I gotta realise how fruitful networking can be!

I met my community I met my community The road for IMGs is very hard and isolating, at the event I was moved by the inspirational stories of some of the speakers, and others gave insightful advice as how to match. You were able to start networking at the pre event cocktail and everyone that came alone met a group they identified with. From the event, I now have a study partner and others that support me since they are ahead of me in this path. I recommend this event to anyone no matter where they are in their journey. The road is long but it can be less of a burden with others to walk with you.

It gives the Indian IMG the much needed camaraderie and support to work towards their goal via this long and arduous journey. Seeing successful people and listening to their stories is just the boost of motivation we need. Love being a part of this community and loved volunteering for this event. IMG event philippines Hello there, this is Oomer Fazil 1st year medical student in University of perpetual help system. It was really fun meeting you all at the event. Everyone at the event made me feel so welcoming and friendly. I got to open up and talk to a lot of new people at the event. The event main purpose was to make students talk to each other and develop networking skills. The doctors at the event were amazing people. Each one had a different type of skill and there own ways through which they got there residencies and that inspired me. I got to learn about what really is usmle, the steps to things like visa and clinical rotations and also about the curriculum vitae and many more things. Thank you for organising sucha great and important event really worth attending the event. Thanks to Doctor Sebastian and the whole organising team of the img event for such a good event.
