GBNordik Vikings - Unable to Recommend I Bought a pair of Nordik Viking Heated Goggles and sadly cannot recommend. Firstly let me say, I bought them in a sale, the delivery was advertised and the product arrived on time. The quality of the packaging was good and the quality of the actual goggles appears good. I am a keen skier and have as have we all struggled with finding a goggle that provides good definition in the mountains and doesn't mist up. The prospect of heated goggles appeared attractive so I thought I would give these a go. The goggles are good quality, the quality of the materials evident and the head strap excellent. The foam surround good quality and easily adjustable over your helmet, and I found the fit did go over fairly large eyeglasses, so far so good. I was surprised that the battery pack has no provision for covering the charging port to stop water ingress, the electrical connectors are cheap and plastic, not rubberised and no attempt is made to make them impervious to water. After a tumble the USB ports were full of snow. I would be interested to know how water proof the battery pack is and if any testing has been done to prevent water ingress, but I doubt it and I think in an outdoors environment this could prove a significant point of weakness. The button on the battery pack illuminates red, green or blue to signify the level of heating provided, alas the brightness of the light is far too dim to determine the colour in daylight on the slopes. Over to the lenses and the use of the goggles on the slopes. Nordik ships the goggles with two lenses, the second advertised as a low light lens. Here is the first surprise, the second lens on the "heated goggles" you bought isn't heated at all, only the primary lens meant for bright sunlight. Quite frankly I find this a con, and misrepresentation of the product. The dark lens is fine and does its job and have to say the heating works very well, but I believe Nordik have forgotten the purpose of a heated goggle. When do we want heating to avoid the glasses misting up, when it's wet and snowing. I skied earlier in the week in strong light, the primary lenses Hic-MAG5 were effective, however not polarised, the heating was not needed. Today the weather was awful, snow and sleet and I braved a day in the mountains. The primary lens was worse than useless in these conditions, yes it did not mist up but that was irrelevant as the lens was way too dark, and provided no contrast or definition in flat light. I tried the medium rose lens which was better in the flat light but simply steamed up (not having heating which I was led to believe it did) this is not a low light lens. I would say here that the magnetic lanes change system works really well. In wet conditions I threw the Nordiks in my backpack and put on my old Oakleys which did a far better job. Nordik, you have the right idea, but don't mislead your customers thinking they are getting two heated lenses, and why would you ever provide a lens for low flat light that isn't heated. Your other range of goggles seem to have a range of lenses, you need to expand that range of lenses to the "Viking" to make it a worthwhile product, you also need to make clear which lenses are polarised and which not, and which are heated. I'll say at the end of this review I reached out to Nordik customer services and gave them the opportunity to respond, they did not come back to me. Very disappointed, it could be a great product. Finally I re-read the reviews on Nordiks own website, they are mainly from summer, who goes skiing in summer ? ------------------------------- Updating this, Nordik tried to have my review removed on the basis it violated Trustpilot's rules. Trustpilot quite sensibly decided it did not. I'm still waiting to hear from Nordik's customer service and you're welcome to write. What sort of company engages with a review site but won't engage with its customers who wrote to them before posting a review.

USNORDIK AKSEL Photochromic TR90 UV Protection Sports Sunglasses This is my honest review. These glasses are GREAT! An OSCAR winner amongst other brands (imho) Super light, sturdy, well designed and made, very comfortable and ergonomic. No more tears while riding my bike. Yay! And they come with a detachable myopia frame! What a practical, useful feature! Kudos to NORDIK! Especially for elders. No lenses provided though. Too bad! I contacted company customer service and within quick response, I’ve been advised to see my ophthalmologist. I’d be more than happy to pay extra $ for all lenses options. Other than that, I LOVE these glasses! Highly recommend!

USSki goggles look well made I purchased a pair of heated ski goggles from Nordik Eyewear. Their web site was clear and instructive, and telephone support for product questions helpful. I have not used the goggles on the ski slopes yet, but the product looks well constructed, convenient to use, and durable. I only gave them four stars because I've not yet used the goggles in actual ski conditions, so I cannot comment on their effectiveness in reducing fogging. I hope I have the chance to review the product again in a few weeks.
