GBGreat for hiring and connecting with high-caliber working moms I’ve connected with great potential hires through HeyMama and have benefited from the programming! It’s a very thoughtful community. As a fellow community builder I know how much love, blood, tears and sweat goes into this, and have been really impressed with the team. I’d say HeyMama is really fantastic if you’re looking for a relatively large (vs niche) community, although, they do offer many opportunities to connect based on shared backgrounds and interests.

GBHeyMama is a great community of… HeyMama is a great community of mothers. I will say in the last 3 months I have made over 10 personal connections with either women looking for jobs, women looking for 3PLs, I have utilized chefs, naturopaths, Financial Advisors, etc. in the community. So we are all winning. Thank you!

GBI was unaware that when I signed up to… I was unaware that when I signed up to be a part of the community, that I was bound for one year. I was unable to make many of the events because of competing priorities; I requested a cancellation but was denied. Basically, I purchased a membership that served no purpose, not to mention a waste of money. As a single mom, that did not bold well. The sign up needs to be clearer and have built in parameters to opt out if the community is not fit. I would have loved to try again next year, when things calmed down for me, but after this experience, I have no further interest.

GBThe onboarding process was a bit… The onboarding process was a bit confusing. There didn't seem to be any real chapter leadership. I want a local chapter that is going to have regular meetings online or in person and that wasn't the case here. Also, when I asked about in-person events I was told it was the members' responsibility to put them together. I don't have time for that nor do I want to do that. I want to join a networking group that takes care of the details and brings people together for networking! Also, the two events that I did go to were poorly run. They were shopping and exercise events -- not what I would call business networking. I did not see the value of being a member so I didn't continue with the group.

GBThe company won’t let me cancel my… The company won’t let me cancel my membership. I canceled the membership last month, but they keep charging me. And there’s another charge scheduled for next month. And they refuse to give me refund for this month, claiming that it takes 30 days to stop the charges. It’s unscrupulous and hypocritical for them to steal from a small Black woman owned business.
