This product works! I started my cat on Renavast 3 months ago and the improvement has been substantial. My cat has Chronic Renal Failure. Since starting on Renavast she is eating a lot more, moving about the house more, and her coat looks much healthier. Definitely would recommend this product to any cat and dog owners.

Not a fan: made my cat sicker. My cat was recently diagnosed with CRF. The bet told me aminavast (formerly renavast) was highly recommended to help manage symptoms with no side effects. My cat was doing fine, may I add, but I felt I should do whatever possible to help. I gave my cat aminavast 2x daily for only 3 days and she threw up 4 times that night. She threw up everything in her system. It was terrifying! I held off on it for a few months. Tried it again once every other day for about a week. Again, she had an episode where she made the sounds as though about to vomit but nothing came up. She acted lethargic, sad, and completely unnatural. After taking her off again, I see she wants to be around us more and seems happier. I told my vet about my experience. After doing research we found that renavast had been pulled from the market by the FDA. Now they market renavast as aminavast. My vet said they were pulling the brand from their shelves immediately. Maybe aminavast will help your animal. But if they start acting anything like my cat did, they need to be taken off of it immediately. Your experience may not be like everyone else's. I emailed renavast's customer service letting them know about our experience, but haven't received a response. I don't believe aminavast has no side effects and I will never attempt to administer it to my cat again!

I Love, Love, Love RenAvast! In August 2012, my 9-year-old Nacho spent four days in the hospital after being diagnosed with kidney disease. Upon his release, I had to give him sub-q injections daily. We both hated it. The vet tech at the animal sanctuary where I volunteer said she'd heard good things about RenAvast. I was willing to try anything. Within two weeks, Nacho's kidney function improved to the point where I could cut down his sub-q to every other day. Two weeks later, we were able to reduce his sub-q to once a week. Another two weeks....the vet took Nacho totally off the sub-q's and told me to keep doing what I was doing. Nacho gets his blood tested every six months. Two years later, at age 11, he's still off his sub-q and is going strong. I still get his blood tested every six months, holding my breath until I get the results. I am so very, very thankful to RenAvast and tell everyone I meet who has a kitty (and working at a dog and cat sanctuary, I meet a lot!).

Don't believe me, take just a GLANCE and try to convince yourself otherwise -- it's not hard to see! No wonder the FDA forced him out of the RenAvast title and to switch brands! I don't even care if the product works, this cannot be tolerated! One star!

My cat is doing well on Renavast I put my cat on Renavast after her vet diagnosed her with kidney disease. I was pretty scared when my vet told me Wendy had already lost about 3/4 of her kidney function. And when I went home and read up on kidney disease and renal failure, I think I got even more scared. Wendy had been drinking a lot of water, wasn't as playful, and even lost a little weight. She was 17 years old and I thought I was losing her. Well, guess what. That was 2 years ago! Wendy is eating great and looks great. I only occasionally give her fluids. And she still plays with my other cat. I am so grateful to have found the Renavast product.
