Very personal and responsive support - admitted to the Renaissance SOM The Shemmassian team gave me impressive support throughout the whole application process. They looked at my application and helped curate a list of schools that were realistic, were very attentive when helping me edit my primaries and secondaries, and guiding me through high yield and more nuanced interview questions (both traditional and MMI). They also made sure that I was emotionally supported. Overall it gave me peace of mind knowing I could rely on this team and made the whole process significantly less stressful. Worth it 1000000%. The service they offered was so worth it. Going into the med school application process, I was nervous and worried. People on reddit/SDN say to do so many different things. I had no idea what kind of schools I was competitive for or whether I had gaps in my application & experiences that I needed to fill. During the application cycle, I had so many questions about which experiences to write about in my secondary essays, and how to prep for MMIs and traditional interviews. My advisor addressed every single one of my questions and made sure I did everything as perfectly as possible for my applications. I also asked to be matched with an advisor who had served on an admissions committee at a top 10 school, and the company gladly obliged. My advisor gave me EXCEPTIONAL advice and throughout the cycle put me at ease and made me feel reassured. I ended up getting interviews at five top 10s and ultimately was admitted to my dream school!!!

This is an extremely well run company… This is an extremely well run company that provided me with exactly what I needed to get into my top school (Yale). I was paired with a person who was very accomplished himself who had graduated from multiple Ivy League Universities. Dr. Shemmassian’s Phd in psychology also comes in handy as he is very well equipped to support people through the stressful process of applying. Highly recommend!

Put your student's medical school application process in the hands of professionals! Our son used the Shemmassian over the last two medical school admission cycles. Though his first attempt was unsuccessful, Sid and Jammie from Shemmassian gave frank, honest feedback that as a parent it's sometimes difficult to give. It was also the best decision to get him working with professionals who know and understand what strengths need to be highlighted and what weaknesses need more work. It certainly is a long process, but the team kept him on schedule and focused. They prepped him for interviews and made sure he stressed what made him stand out.
