First UI Experience This was my company's first experience using a UI designer. Previously, we relied on our engineers to design screens. While I products were functional, they had no "pop". First impression of Toptal designers was that they were way above our weight class and overkill for what we perceived as our need. We were wrong. Designer we hired started by researching similar products in the market so he brought a third-party perspective to what we were asking him to do. It took a while to develop a working relationship. But within a few weeks, designer was clicking with our team. By the end of the engagement, we had completely redesigned our product -- look, feel, flow and function. Unexpected benefit was the designer's work product gave our developers all the tools they needed to create the new UI on our platform with a minimum of re-coding.

Comms and Developer Matching Communication with the team has been great thus far. They connected us to multiple individuals who were incredibly talented and we ultimately landed on a developer who has been a massive upgrade for us. We're very happy.
