I was intrigued by the data journalist position and applied for it. There's definitely a learning curve to it, but if you focus on one sport and do as many training games as possible, you will be greatly rewarded. The job is flexible and you apply for games whenever you want. You get to the venue an hour before the match, and using an app on your phone you input statistics in real time. If you like watching sports, this gig is a no-brainer. Plus I now have a second income stream that will allow me to pursue my dreams. Highly recommended!

Unprofessional and disorganised company This company wasted 2 momths of my life training me for a job that they didn't give me because "I had applied for the role before" which wasn't true. There are many more data collection companies that simply do their job better than these guys like Opta Sport.

I had multiple questions that needed answered throughout the process and he was always there to answer them, even with the 7-hour time difference.
