As an amateur gunsmith the install was easy enough but a bit involved needing to cut off barrel hardware but worth it. Occam's video's were very informative too. Thanks Occam for making the upgrade that the AK truly needed to compete with the AR. When I compare Steel case ammo to steel case ammo between the two guns I find my AK and AR are equals in accuracy.

Two thumbs way up Order was processed and shipped fast. Packaging was superb, I really enjoyed it. Sights are fantastic and feel exceptional. Great fit, low profile, finish is consistent over both front and rear sights. Also pretty light for a set of fixed metal irons.

Best Handguard I've put on the AK to date I've had the rs regulate and the slr handguard on my ak's and yes, they're very nice but the merc tskes it to the next step. With it's free floating design along with the built in heatshield and amount of real estate for accessories make it the best handguard on the market for the akm platform by far.

Outstanding Communication and Product My experience with ODS has been phenomenal. From their outstanding communication throughout the build to their follow up after my FFL transfer, it has been nothing short of professional. I have run about 300 rounds through my rifle and worked up hand loads for 123gr Spitzer that are consistently grouping around 1" at 100m with three shot groups off a bench with rear support. Of course, accuracy is a reflection of the build quality: excellent.
