I found the forum overall wasn't a good forum I found the forum overall wasn't as large as i expected, a few members accounting for much of the activity. This wasn't an issue until I realized several we're pretty biased and not very well informed, some even borderline rude. It also seemed the staff harrassed certain members, just poor tact. I'm still a member but never use the site anymore, between YouTube channels, Facebook groups and other forums there are just simply better resources available.

Not friendly, intolerant Mean moderators, I defended Tom Brady, and they didn't like it, I also made a joke about the MCU, they didn't like it, and I posted an Ant-man video, THEN DELETED IT because I remembered they said hell in it. That was the end of me! Find another forum if you want nice people!

Readers Beware! Readers Beware. Today, Fishlore Representatives posted a link to this Trustpilot page with a caption that begs people to come here and give them positive ratings. In the caption, it states that their poor reviews are from from people they've banned from their site, which couldn't be further from the truth. Clean up your act Fishlore! Stop allowing your moderators to bully and humiliate the members of your group. Keep it in perspective. You're a fish forum.

There are certainly better aquarium forums out there... I was a member of Fishlore for almost 6 years, with over 2500 posts helping and learning from fellow aquarists. As I was reading some of the reviews here, I noticed a review that one of the mods replied to. The mod stated, "We don't ban members very often and only after they have been given several warnings about forum rules violations." This is simply not true. I was banned from FL without any warning, and from what I can tell, my crime was belonging to another fish forum. Others I know had a similar experience. I enjoyed my time on FL but was treated terribly by the mods there. There are certainly more welcoming aquarium forums available.

Fishlore is amazing! i think Fishlore is amazing, i have gotten to know so many people and so many great information and helpfull folks! yeah the moderators can be a little strict but thats a good thing, this is a website where kids can go on and they have to make sure its kids friendly. People giving nagatives reviews here are just immature, like the comment left by Debbie who would always be rude to others who didnt agree with her, but the minute the moderators call her out then she ran to this website to leave negative reviews? dont believe everything you read.
