A life changing journey….. I joined ELK over three years ago and it was by far the best decision I made. I was totally unsure to begin with but I was made to feel so welcome and fell in love with my incredible journey. The ladies are so friendly, inclusive and flexible to all needs. The founder Tim is an exceptional warrior and not only teaches all the fundamentals and disciplines of kickboxing within his bespoke syllabus but also takes you on an incredible journey of self development and belief. Having suffered severely with the impact of the menopause, ELK has helped and supported me in so many ways. It’s now my way of life and love it 🥰

Great classes and instructors. I joined Elite Ladies Kickboxing in 2018. It was honestly one of the best decisions!! Tim and Becky were the lead instructors in Chippenham at the time, and made the classes inviting, energetic, sweaty and of course fun. Not much has really changed in the 5.5 years since I joined, they’ve just got better and better with new instructors joining the growing team all of whom bring so much more to each class that are run across all the locations that ELK are based.

Did enjoy going, until they didn't support all Did enjoy going, they were disabled friendly. However with.on going indirect bullying the instructors did nothing. They ignored 3 complaints and enabled the abuse. I had to walk away from the toxic environment they were allowing. Since moving to another kickboxing club. I realised it's just boxercise pad drills class. The instructors are not black belts qualified. Nor taught correctly. You will not spar or be able to compete. This is very basic compared to other local clubs. There grading is completely wrong too. Yes each club belts are different yet theirs is not even close to what is KB is. The classes are too big and they getting other beginners to be instructors. I found them very incompetent and unprofessional grading compared to all MMA clubs. I Would advise you get trained by a black belt instructor club. Plus a club that has 0 tolerance to bullying in martial arts. Such a shame. Yet my new club has made vaule quality training over their vast quanity. As many members are left confused and informed when the male instructor turned up in grading. This was another thing I asked before grading. They said no he won't be there. Yet he turned up. So there no consideration of warning for domestic abuse victims. It made alot of members very uncomfortable to met him whilst I'm the middle grading. As did not have our consent to this.

I moved to a new area and hoped to… I moved to a new area and hoped to improve my fitness and socialise at the same time. This company has helped me to do more than that. I have found myself again and having a wonderful time every week with the wonderful team of ladies. A 5 star company for sure.

I have disabilities and they accepted… I have disabilities and they accepted me onto the group at Royal Wootton Bassett. At first things were great and I was being included in the group, hitting/kicking pads and being part of the group. Over time however, I began to be singled out as I wasn’t as able-bodied or as fast as the group members. This meant that I was shadow boxing all the time with no explanation. I asked to at least get five minutes per week hitting/kicking pads like the others but this never happened and shadow boxing continued. During my time there, I had to overcome some health issues like recovering from an operation and catching bugs so I missed classes. I could have gone to other classes in the localised area to add up for the amount of time I’d missed but this wasn’t something I was able to do. My mental health became affected, knocking the confidence and self esteem I’d had before shadow boxing and so I took a couple of weeks off with the view that I’d try again once my mental health had stabilised. I went back amd once again I was meant to shadow box, continuing to be singled out except the stretches they do at the beginning and end of each session. That day I quit as it was clear there was discrimination regarding my disabilities and it was afffecting my mental health. I asked for a refund regarding the months I hadn’t used and was told they do not do refunds. I attempted to contact the founder/boss to gain clarification regarding this as I would have understood this if I’d used that time I wasn’t there but he picked up my message and did not respond. They did not have to accept me onto their group but they did and I am saddened that I have had to write this review. However, I do not wish for others with disabilities to attempt what I did, come to discover they get treated the way I did and I sat back and didn’t do a review that could effectively save them. To say the least I had hoped to sort this and didn’t wish to out this as I didn’t think or feel it was the company as a whole. I am sadly very disappointed especially as I loved going to these classes before this experience.
