USThey give you the runaround to get… They give you the runaround to get referrals to cardiologists or orthopedics your doctor sends in your stuff then the VA says they need something else that you tell the doctor and they said we sent it in and it’s back-and-forth and then you call the Patient Advocate and they tell you if you can go get the stuff it’ll speed it up all the while you’re having heart problems and they don’t give a crap that’s the VA

USRetired and worthless to the VA Well, I served for 20 years the VA doesn’t give a rats butt about you now I’ve been on a medication for seven years which has been extremely helpful with no side effects but for some unfound reason they now want to switch me to a medication that causes lymphoma. Apparently VA doesn’t stand for veterans assistance or anything else because once you retire they don’t care about you wellbeing anymore. If you have any options, do not enter the military and if you can get out get out because once you stay, you’re worthless. They tell you about the benefits, but when you retire, they rip them away from you

USI would have liked for staff to be more experienced and trained I would have liked for staff to be more experienced and trained in handling and working front office. The staff that I have are really great in personality and have great customer care. They are timely and able to accept instruction. I have received positive feedback about them from patients which is always a plus. As I always want my patients to feel respected when they contact the office. They lack knowledge in the operations of medical front office operations and procedure. So there is alot of training and revisiting procedure. Not expected if agency advertise to provide medical skills trained professionals.

USThe provider has to be a participant in… The provider has to be a participant in the selection of their assistant

USOur front desk loves this extension of… Our front desk loves this extension of the team to be able to coordinate and delegate tasks which, prior to VA care, took them away from patients in the office.
