New comers We joined PLU 3 months ago and have been very impressed with our experience so far. We had an exchange organised within a month. Unfortunately our exchangers had to cancel due to ill health but within 2 days we had another exchange organised. The people we have dealt with so far are great - very quick to respond and very helpful.

The happiest people on earth are on… The happiest people on earth are on PLU. Join them! Everyone is so kind it feels like a scam. But they are, honest to goodness, the best of the best. I never saw myself hosting strangers and trading homes. And I still don’t. This tight knit community opens up their hearts and homes and swallows you right up in a big hug. I don’t ever feel I’m with strangers, but family.

High response rate and so many nice notes We are organizing our first longer trip to Ireland with multiple exchanges. It looks it will work out well. Nice places could be easily identified. One exchange is already finalized, two are in process. The incredibly high response rate and friendly notes reveals a community where people like to share or grant others a good time. PLU is about people, trust and respect - and sharing.

And the annual membership is just about the cost of a family night in a hotel. Super value for money for families with young children and couples who like to travel. Works for remote workers too. And if you're on the fence as a trial member, proactively show up and reply to your messages to increase your response rate and potential interests.
