Helsinki and the Arctic forest are magical in the winter It was a great trip to Helsinki and Kakslauttanen in the Arctic forest. The food in the dining room was mediocre, two of my four dinners were Luke warm and needed to be sent back. The reception staff at the main lodge was inexperienced and had trouble with English( they are staffed from all over the world , yet English was a challenge for many. In Helsinki the Hotel Lilla Roberts was truly nice, except for turning on the shower required getting wet . Good location, nice breakfast and dinners at the hotel . Nice staff.

European Travel with Alexander & Roberts Alexander & Roberts has a great sales consultant with Crina. Our month travels to Europe this year had a few hiccups and Crina made sure everything was right when we returned. We appreciate all she does and how she works with her European connections. Travel with ease! Alexander Roberts takes care of us from beginning to end in small group friendly fashion. Our Expedition Cruise to Alaska-Northbound in July, 2023 was our 4th trip with Alexander Roberts/AAA. This was our first cruise. The other trips were small group. Our expedition guide reminded us we were on an expedition and not an ordinary cruise. With the encouragement of the guides, we went on zodiacs, which we loved, took part in scientific talks onboard, visited small towns and learned from the indigenous people about their history, lives, and environment. It was a unique experience which is typical of AR.
