A most educational way to relax and enjoy stops with friendly staff.The staff on the ship were most helpful… The staff on the ship were most helpful and friendly. The stops on various islands were most interesting and educational. The night before every stop there was a great presentation on what to expect and how to make the best use of our time. The food was extraordinary both in quality and variety. The cabin was plenty big and comfortable and the nightly cocktails were so enjoyable.

The ship accomodations were excellent The ship accomodations (cabin, lounges, laundry, dinning room) were excellent. The food was very high quality and the selections were very good. The "open bar" policy resulted in abuse, as you must know. The elderly population of our cruise drank more than they should given the negative impact on their health with heavy drinking. Dinner beer and wine is more appropriate with an cash bar. Subsidizing alcoholic consumption is not a reasonable marketing strategy.

This was our 16th cruise on ACL This was our 16th cruise on ACL. Thanks to Luca, the chef, the food was the best we have had so far. Besides creating great meals, he pitched in wherever help was needed including serving and busing tables. He said that he helped because they were family. He set the tone for much of the cruise. Also, this was among the friendliness crews we have had. Andy, the Hotel Manager, did a great job with his crew and provided some person service to us. Karis, our Cruise Director, was new and a little inexperienced but did a great job with the shore excursions and the onboard activities. She also provided some personal assistance during a minor crisis. Overall, one of our best cruises because of the staff. Our favorite event was the Virginia International Tattoo. Quite an unusual evening entertainment.

The cruise was my first of this type… The cruise was my first of this type and it was beyond all of my expectations. The ship, Melody, was clean, neat and stable, The crew from the dinning room servers to the housekeepers were superb. Cant wait until my snake/Columbia cruise in June.

Great Service Always great service from all involved on the ship. The onboard entertainment and historian were great. I really appreciate the knowledge that Robert had regarding the areas we visited. this was my ninth cruise. The only concern I had was the weather which affected some of the activities we participated in. However, the staff organized and rearranged excursions very well.
