I have taken two hiking trips with MT… I have taken two hiking trips with MT Sobek (Morocco and Patagonia). I highly recommend this travel company. They deliver what is promised to the highest standard. They seek out the best possible locations, work with local, knowledgeable guides and everything is so well organized. Their staff in the US is excellent and as a traveler you are well prepared for every trip.

Our trip to Patagonia was a dream Our trip to Patagonia was a dream! After meeting up with our travel group, we spent the next six days experiencing the incredible beauty of this unique part of the world. Cristian and Eduardo, our wonderful guides, pointed out wildlife, geological formations, guided us on breathtaking hikes, and taught us about Patagonian culture. They were knowledgeable, kind, patient, and comical! Best of all, we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had clean and comfortable transportation with our fantastic driver, Eduardo, spent our nights in luxurious hotels with amazing views, and ate fresh, incredible meals. We truly felt spoiled!

The trip of a lifetime (to Everest base camp) done right! I found Mountain Travel Sobek through a friend who had taken an Everest Base Camp trip almost 20 years earlier. I was so impressed with their history in the area, the strength of the team on the trail, the fine-tuned itinerary, and the personal attention and support we each received. I knew this would be the trip of a lifetime, yet it exceeded all expectations I ever had.

Cultural Enlightenment on the Kumano Kodo Our Kumano Kodo Walking Trip was well thought out, planned and executed. Our guide was knowledgeable and dedicated to make our trip special. Meals and accommodations were all excellent. A truly cultural submersion that my family will always remember.
