GBGreat Local Tour Guides You should go with Affordable World if you are into learning the local history and landmarks of the places you visit. I have done two separate packages with Affordable World, one to Turkey/Malta and one to Bangkok/Phuket, and was impressed with their great local tour guides and optional tours.

GBWas hard to work with Was hard to work with, it cost more money to make any changes the insurance wasn’t what they explained. Because we had to do separate packages instead of adding onto the the original we jumped through lots of hoops. The site advertised 7 days and we only got maybe 5 days

GBTours were a bit rushed & food situation was C- Tours were a bit rushed, and food situation was very poor… We were often starving and had to eat at 7-Eleven or nibble on snacks. Would have preferred less but more meaningful slower tours to learn more and made group stops at restaurants to make sure everyone ate, and learned what to order. Mt.Fiji hotel was horrible (1 star) and food was beyond horrible but the view was magnificent! Loved the country, the people and the culture and most of the tour stops were wonderful.

GBRewarding and Excellent Experience This was one of the most rewarding, fulfilling, humbling, exciting and excellent moments in our lives. Because of Affordable World, my family and I were able to have an experience of a lifetime and create forever memories, together. We traveled to Greece via Miami to Istanbul, then Istanbul to Athens on Turkish Airlines. We then took a ferry from Athens to Thira (Santorini) and we’d encourage upgrading to business class on the ferry (well worth the 8hr trip for views). Each tour guide, driver and Peter (who met us at the airport with a sign) was very kind, welcoming and generous with knowledge. English was primarily spoken, but was not required for us. I would book with this tour company again and again. Thank you!

GBUnforgettable experience Hotels were new and clean. Very friendly staff and tour guides. The hotel in Athens was a bit far from city center and in a very ADULT environment neighborhood. I’m glad we did not travel with kids. The hotel in Santorini was spectacular as well but a bit secluded from Fira. Most of the budget goes on taxis. It would be great to include hotel shuttle availability. Trip in general was unforgettable a wonderful experience.
