GBKenya: An Outstanding Adventure I had the pleasure of working with Karolina to book my Kenya safari. Kenya was magical and the itinerary was pulled off with almost no hitches...and with the one issue (bags didn't make the connection), Yampu was there following up to assure that my bags made it to where they needed to be. We went to three separate areas of Kenya -- each offering a different glimpse into the country and the animals: Amboselli, Samburu and Masai Mara. I thought one safari in a lifetime would be sufficient...I was wrong! Definitely hope to be able to return to Africa.

GBArgentina plus Iguazu staying in Brazil and two days in Chile! We worked with Jose on our Argentina trip and some details got complicated, as the trip had originally been planned by our sister, who could not go at the last moment. Jose spent quite a bit of time with the remaining two sisters (me being one of them), going over plans, answering questions and making some changes. We were always picked up at airports promptly and well taken care of. Guides were good (some incredibly good, such as Virginia in Iguazu Falls and Roberto in Cordoba). We like traveling with Yampu -- we are not with a large group and on our own at times but have guides when we want them.

GBOur guides were great Our guides were great, I’d say our guide for Thailand, we only met once in the way from the airport, she was nice but slept the entire drive which we thought was not appropriate. We loved all the places we went and stayed. We did feel that for the price we should have had nicer hotel accommodations. Not the hotel itself but the room we were booked. The itinerary does note standard but prices in Thailand and Bali are extremely low so we would have expected some upgrades at least. We loved our trip, loved the country, not many issues with flight air etc.

GBWe have been on two trips using Yampu We have been on two trips using Yampu: to the backroads of Southern Mexico and to Jordan. We felt safe but adventurous on each, seeing what we wanted to see, not places on someone else's agenda. The hotels were always fine and the transportation and guides excellent. The Yampu people jumped into to help in a minor crisis (flight cancelled) leaving nothing to chance.

GBYampu made a very complex trip easy! We just got back from a three week private tour of Ecuador, Peru, and Chile that involved 12 flights, 9 hotels, two trains, and countless buses and trains. Every single aspect of this challenge was executed without a hitch. To make things even more challenging for them, we have very defined preferences for accommodations and activities. Maggie and Yampu did a fabulous job picking properties that provided us great variety while remaining true to our tastes and tolerances. Their onsite guides were all very good, too. I look forward to the opportunity to use them again soon!
