Our 10 Night Irish Dream Vacation - April 2024 We found Discovering Ireland Vacations in early 2022 while doing research. After reading all their reviews we were ready to learn more. We scheduled the 7 nights Irish Romance self-driving tour. Maria Lieb, mariaATdiscoveringirelandDOTcom, managed our trip from start to finish. Ms. Lieb was very informative and knowledgeable. She provided us several options and recommendations. She was flexible with our schedule, taking payments, and making rental car arrangements. We trusted her in planning our dream vacation. Excellent communication! We would highly recommend our self-drive package. Very easy to follow directions and itinerary. Our dream vacation went extremely smooth with no issues. Our package included: Complete Irish Breakfast and Room upgrades with all hotels. We stayed 2 nights in the Cliff House, 3 nights in the Ballyseede Castle, and 2 nights in the Dromoland Castle. We received an extensive day to day customized travel guide with suggested driving and walking routes. An Automatic Rental vehicle thru Hertz. 1 5-course Gourmet dinner at the Cliff House. Gap of Dunloe Tour. Private Falconry session. Medieval Banquet at the Bunratty Castle. Aran Island Ferry round trip ticket. We squeezed in a visit to Blarney castle and explored on our own every chance we got. In addition to our travel package, we reserved 2 nights in Dublin before the trip and reserved 1 night in Dublin after our car return on the last day. We booked our flights separately - Round trip from IAD to Dublin. Without asking, Maria provided us a complementary Dublin travel guide which was great! She also arranged our rental car pickup and return at Dublin airport. We would highly recommend Maria and Discovering Ireland Vacations for your travel needs. You will not be disappointed.

We booked a drive yourself tour We booked a drive yourself tour which included B&B and car rental. The B&B's were top rate. Very comfortable with friendly hosts, delicious and varied breakfasts. They were all within a 30 minute walk of the downtown areas where there were many shops and restaurants. We received an upgrade on our car at Hertz's rental. The company was very helpful reviewing the driving since we were from Canada where we drive on the right side of the road and the mechanics of the car is designed opposite. The suggestions for things to do each day was extensive with choices for rain or shine. When we were booking the tour Stephanie was very prompt answering any questions we had and helping us plan a memorable trip. We had a great time and would recommend your company to anyone traveling to Ireland whether it's the first time or a return trip

A wonderful experience A wonderful experience. We took a 7 day self drive tour of southern Ireland. The directions, the hotels and the notes on the monuments and scenic stops were excellent. Highly recommend. Only advice would be to take incar fitted GPS especially if you intend to modify the set courses. Also take the 4 star hotel option. All were excellent with top rated breakfasts and handy locations

Our B&B's were great Our B&B's were great. The trip was planned so we did not spend our driving days on the road too long. We stayed across the street from a Castle, in an amazing Castle, 2 residential homes coverted to a B&B a short walk from the town center and a couple of hotels. The food and hospitality were great in every location. Many thanks, Maria, for helping us plan our driving holiday.

Absolutely magical We had the best experience with Discovering Ireland Vacations! Everything turned out beautifully because of the great planning that went into it beforehand. Maria was very accommodating, allowed us to make customization that made our honeymoon extra special, and was a joy to work with. We can't wait to go back to Ireland!
