But everything was bingo right from the start.The perfect T. From airport transfers, guides, transport services to food & miscellaneous. "Lev Tolstoy' is surely the best to sail the Volga from Moscow to St Petersburg. It has comfortable cabin space, cleanliness, onboard entertainment & wonderful cuisine. A great experience. Far East Russia definitely the Great Outdoors !! As in the past Travel all Russia lived up to expectations.A memorable holiday but more of an "expedition" as we explored little known areas.For such a trip you need to approach everything with an open mind,everything was very different but the real pleasure was coming in contact with the real Russian people, on an ongoing basis,rather than being sheltered from them,if one was in a large group. There is no doubt that this area of Russia lives up to the real "Great Outdoors" which suited us down to the ground.

Agent Melissa was extremely helpful in… Agent Melissa was extremely helpful in helping us to set up our itinerary for our private tour of Russia. The local agent Alena was also most helpful in getting all tickets for ballets, operas, shows, and restaurants bookings during our trip. When our flight from Kazan to St Petersburg was delayed, I texted her and she was on top of it all to make sure my connection also arranged and transfer etc. We are overall very happy with the trip, only thing that can be improved is: some of the guides' English is not as good as we would have liked.

Excellent service Excellent service, guides, food. Our timing was not good, because of inauguration of the president and anniversary of the end of the II World war. Huge crowds, lineups and Kremlin was closed. This was the only negative aspect I can report. I think that itinerary should be modified when there are historic celebrations in the visiting country.
