Everything was exactly as the promised Everything was exactly as the promised. Pre departure paperwork and Visa was a breeze. Both guides were excellent; friendly and knew their stuff. No queueing up at entrances. The Hotels were very comfortable and food was good. I would urge anyone thinking of ticking Russia off their bucket list to use Firebird travel.

Trans Siberian Journey! July 9th to 28th, 2019! Enjoyed the whole journey from St. Petersburg to Ulan Bator. Sight seeing in all places was great with many surprises to learn about the History of each place. All the guides (English speaking) were so good to explain every thing we would always remember them fondly. Kremlin Visit, Moscow Subway visit, touring many Churches, Buddhist Monasteries, Camping in the mountains in Mongolia and the exciting Train journey through Siberian wilderness would remain fresh in our Memories for ever! Love Russia My trip to Russia was just amazing. I had no preconceived ideas of what to except. This trip was perfect in every way - accomadations, locals guides, food, churches, museums, subways, etc., and within country travels. The locals in Moscow and St Petersburg were polite, so friendly and helpful. Vladimir and Suzdal’ were an added bonus. This was such awesome life-time adventure. Russia was a revelation! Excellent tour guides in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. Schedule was a bit light for my taste. In St. Petersburg, both Peterhof and Catherine's Palace were both beautiful, however, I would have liked to have visited additional art museums, and historic homes of writers rather that seeing two gold encrusted palaces. I knew that St. Petersburg would be crowded in August, but was just overwhelmed by the number of tourists. Impossible to really "see" art in the Hermitage -- we were rushed thru so quickly (by the museum guards) to accomopdate the 35,000 daily visitors. Other museums, especially The Russian State Museum, were exceptional. I visited it on my own, not part of the tour.

Saw all highlights in Moscow and St Petersburg Relaxing daily schedule. Luxurious hotel. Suitable for solo or couple travellers. A lot of free time after the tour for you to relax or explore on your own. Knowledgeable guides. Train to St Petersburg was fast and comfortable
