He was incredibly attentive, always available to answer our questions, and made sure every detail was perfect. A dream vacation For someone visiting Italy for the first time, this is way above my expectation. I went with a small group of six girls on a customized trip with sightseeing, food/wine tasting, and shopping in central Italy--the Umbria region. The views (ocean, valleys, rolling hills, ancient cities, and grand churches) are breathtaking, food (seafood, pasta, cold cuts, and fresh vegs) to die for, and shopping (handmade leather and cashmere by local artists) is unbelievable. And Max, our tour leader, has a knack for knowing exactly where the best place to be. We did so much--wine tasting, truffle hunting, learning about how olive oils are made, and trying so many unique flavors of gelatos such as star anise, rose, lavender, and fig. I highly recommend it.
