Great guide, great hike, great hotels, great food Vannia, our guide, was the best part about our trip. She was personable, accommodating and professional. She was also incredibly knowledgeable both on the hiking trail and at the sites around the Sacred Valley. We loved our hotels and the food was fantastic every single day. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!

The tour guides were top rate The tour guides were top rate, both in the Galapagos and in Cusco/Machu Picchu. They all had extensive inside knowledge of our locations. They were also flexible when things didn't happen according to schedule. My only minor complaints are that we were a bit overscheduled on the Galapagos Legend, and there was more rocking of the boat than expected for such a large ship. Would bring sea sickness patches next time.

We couldn’t be happier than we were… We couldn’t be happier than we were with Andean discoveries. First class trip all around. We started in Quito and then on to the Galapagos legend. We are 3 mature women traveling and every little detail was handled in a professional and worry free manner. The local drivers and tour guides were there for us every step of the way. From picking us up at the airports (we had a total of 10 flights) to checking us into hotels, taking us to restaurants and making sure we had everything we wanted. From the Galapagos on to Cusco and Machu Picchu beautiful hotels and transportation and excellent guides and drivers. One of my best trips ever. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing experience! Everything about the trip was amazind. Our guide, Franco, was the best guide we have ever had. So full of information, so personable. He really made the trip for us. The drivers were each wonderful too. All of the arrangements and reservations were first class- hotels, restaurants, trains, tickets. Everything was well thought out and handled. Andean Discovery crafted a custom trip… to The Lost City of Colombia Andean Discovery crafted a custom trip to Colombia for a Lost City trek (Ciudad Perdida). It was one of the best adventures of my life, truly a life changing experience. Guide was a pro and the Chef sent ahead of us made sure we had gourmet meal at every major stop along route. I do recommend bringing a hammock if you prefer open air sleeping, the lodging is as expected for this type of journey. The multi-day hike was book-ended with luxury hotel / Villa stays, so that made prep / recovery a great experience. Def plan on going again! Thanks to Damon and his crew for taking it to another level.
