Exceeded all expectations! SGH Golf did an excellent job planning and executing a father-son trip to Scotland for our group of 16. Every detail was done to perfection. We chose to have a driver and guide for the trip. They took care of everything, from getting us to our tee time to making sure we were set for dinner reservations. An our guide helped us make some last minute changes that made the trip more memorable. It could not have been a better trip!! I would highly recommend SGH Golf to anyone!

Deceptive company practices Booked a golf trip to Scotland with SGH for my 50th birthday. Only thing I asked for was a "guaranteed" tee time on St. Andrews Old Course. Paid for trip in its entirety based on itinerary delivered to me 4 days before we paid. 2 months later, received updated itinerary showing that we were using "ballot" tee times. I was also refunded the money for 2 rounds at St. Andrews, one for Old Course and 1 for New Course that we paid for. Was told they made a mistake, however, more likely is that once they realized they couldn't "guarantee" a tee time, they tried to sneak it past us with the new itinerary. Called company immediately. Was assured that we would have no issues getting in the ballot by one of their employees. This was a blatant lie. We didn't get in the ballot. Only way we played was we got in line at 1:00am and stayed up until 1:20pm the next day when we got a cancellation spot. There are many better companies to use. Go with a different company.

Scotland Golf Trip May 2015 SGH did an amazing job from beginning to end! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to experience the ultimate golf vacation! Professional, friendly, well connected, organized. SGH takes care of everything and so the only thing you have to focus on is your golf game! Turnberry, Royal Troon, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Muirfield, The New Course at St Andrews - The whole trip was Awesome! Thanks SGH Team!

Accommodations were excellent, golf reservations were perfectly executed and our guide was a wonderful gentleman who was always present and helpful when we needed him. 1) Completely hassle free way to play the top courses in Scotland 2) Hotels were as advertised with excellent rooms and services. 3) Trying to get a tee time at St. Andrews can be a challenge but even that aspect of the trip was handled expertly. After missing the lottery several days in a row, we did get a 7:45 AM tee time for our entire group on the last day of our trip and it was the highlight of the week. In order to accommodate this our guide had to move several alternative course bookings to alternative times. 4) Absolutely no negatives to report.

Exceptional! Have travelled on two different trips to Scotland with their help. The way they handle all of the planning and in-county logistics is incredible and allows you to keep your focus on the important things, which for me was golf and the culture/history. They are incredibly value-added (and help you do things you could never do or even know about on your own) and I am not sure I would ever go back without them. Perfect blend of expertise, professionalism and personal attention.
