The first was Peru and the second was Ecuador. Their support pre trip and during the trip was EXCELLENT. They put together both trips to meet our needs and interests. Since then we have booked Easter Island, Amazon, Uganda, Costa Rica, etc. to name a few. Our last several trips have been totally customized to meet our needs, desires, budget. Fun, fun, fun! I had a great time on my trip to Ecuadar a few years back. It was my first big, out of the US vacation. Detour made it fun, easy, and comfortable! I loved the variety of events planned for each day: snorkeling, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and more! Some of which were a first for me, all the tour guides were helpful and accommodating with each activity. I definitely look forward to my next trip with them :)

A great experience -- highly recommended!! We highly recommend Detour for Latin America travel. Our original trip to the Galapagos and Machu Picchu, booked in 2020, was cancelled due to Covid.
