GBOur Atlantis Egypt tour was fantastic Our Atlantis Egypt tour was fantastic! The host and expert guides were full of amazing information about the history of Egypt. From the Pyramids, camel rides, cruising down the Nile, to the excellent accommodations and bazaars, it is a trip I highly recommend.

GBA Memorable Experience This was my first travel experience to Egypt. I don’t think we would have had the in-depth knowledge we gained without the expertise of the staff at Atlantis Tours. They took good care of us despite the large size of the group, which was quite the challenge. Thank you for making it memorable.

GBI’m not one to write reviews… I’m not one to write reviews, whether positive or negative. Nonetheless, the educational trip I participated in, organized by Atlantis Tours, deserves one. A positive one. And they also deserve ten or more stars. We visited Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. In each country, we were greeted by a very knowledgeable guide, stayed in beautiful places, toured all the sights, were entertained, and enjoyed the local cuisine. At some point, one of my peers said that we were doing so much, but we were not tired. I responded that it was because everything had been arranged, and we did not have to think or plan. We couldn’t have been more pampered. Thank you, Atlantis Tours, for an unforgettable trip!

GBGroup tour of Egypt with ~70 people… Group tour of Egypt with ~70 people from a well-known U.S. university. Two full tour buses. We definitely felt safe, with one or two security folks on each bus at all times and a police escort following us everywhere. Got the feeling that, contrary to the trip literature and State Dept website advisories, there was a threat around every corner. There was so much concern, in fact, that we were never allowed time to walk about freely and explore. This dynamic may have been largely due to the anxious and controlling school administration, which was always worried about some squeaky wheel suing them later. On the flip side, some of the organized events were incredible, and that was all due to careful planning on the part of Atlantis. The balloon ride was particularly spectacular. Just the logistics of getting 70 people into and out of airports, museums, food venues, and camel rides (just to name a few) required Herculean effort. Maher, the trip leader from Atlantis, was always very caring and kind and attending to every detail of everyone’s needs. They also had very informative and knowledgeable Egyptologists that truly gave us an education in everything from history to culture to hieroglyphics. If you are considering a trip to Egypt, you would do well to choose Atlantis, but insist that the group be no larger than 20 people, and don’t go with an institution that is more concerned with liability than experience.
