GB12 days in Egypt Took our PHD Program on a 12 days excursion - educational and adventurous - through the north and south of Egypt! Our guides were funny, knowledgable, kind and proud to share their home with us travelers. We felt taken care of with every need met or question answered and it truly was the experience of a lifetime!

GBWonderful experience I took a 9 day trip booked with Atlantis tours as a part of a program with my university. We traveled to 3 countries: Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Everything was planned for us ahead of time and as a result we’re able to pack in lots of wonderful excursions! I did not have to worry about anything. Maher and the guides provided knowledgable tours at the different sites we visited while keeping things light and humorous which really kept our spirits up. I know a lot of people have have reservations about traveling to the Middle East given the current political climate but I truly felt safe and well taken cared of. The accommodations arranged for us really exceed my expectations, from the meals to the hotels and the excursions. I highly recommend booking with Atlantis Tours!

GBI’m not one to write reviews… I’m not one to write reviews, whether positive or negative. Nonetheless, the educational trip I participated in, organized by Atlantis Tours, deserves one. A positive one. And they also deserve ten or more stars. We visited Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. In each country, we were greeted by a very knowledgeable guide, stayed in beautiful places, toured all the sights, were entertained, and enjoyed the local cuisine. At some point, one of my peers said that we were doing so much, but we were not tired. I responded that it was because everything had been arranged, and we did not have to think or plan. We couldn’t have been more pampered. Thank you, Atlantis Tours, for an unforgettable trip!

GBThe Egypt trip was phenomenal The Egypt trip was phenomenal! Egyptian scholars guided us through tombs, temples and mosques, taught us history unknown to most and shared with us their true love for Egypt. The history of Cairo, Aswan and Luxor are precious memories in which I shared with friends, both old and new. I recommend this trip of a lifetime to anyone who enjoy immersing themselves in learning. I cannot say enough to Maher and his team’s hospitality, accommodations and adventurous options available to all who attended. Thank you!

GBGroup tour of Egypt with ~70 people… Group tour of Egypt with ~70 people from a well-known U.S. university. Two full tour buses. We definitely felt safe, with one or two security folks on each bus at all times and a police escort following us everywhere. Got the feeling that, contrary to the trip literature and State Dept website advisories, there was a threat around every corner. There was so much concern, in fact, that we were never allowed time to walk about freely and explore. This dynamic may have been largely due to the anxious and controlling school administration, which was always worried about some squeaky wheel suing them later. On the flip side, some of the organized events were incredible, and that was all due to careful planning on the part of Atlantis. The balloon ride was particularly spectacular. Just the logistics of getting 70 people into and out of airports, museums, food venues, and camel rides (just to name a few) required Herculean effort. Maher, the trip leader from Atlantis, was always very caring and kind and attending to every detail of everyone’s needs. They also had very informative and knowledgeable Egyptologists that truly gave us an education in everything from history to culture to hieroglyphics. If you are considering a trip to Egypt, you would do well to choose Atlantis, but insist that the group be no larger than 20 people, and don’t go with an institution that is more concerned with liability than experience.
