The balance between structured activities and free time to explore was perfect! Connecting with the Cuban people through music and the arts was a highlight for me. I will travel with CCJ again. CCJ Arranged Our Private Tour of Cuba Ours was a private tour with old friends. Our American guide was the daughter of Cuban ex-pats. She spoke fluentSpanish, made spectacular arrangements for New Year’s Eve for us, and knew people and places along our way. We had superb lectures on music, dance, and even politics. A dance performance, visit to an artist coop studio, meals in private homes, museums —it was an experience I will never forget. All arrangements made by Cross Cultural Journeys were satisfactory to superb, within the context of what they were allowed by the Cuban government. I have highly recommended this company to others since my return.

Horrible, unprofessional, bedbugs - do not consider this company! My experience was a disaster, as was that of our entire group. I cannot express strongly enough how horrible this tour company is. Our guide/owner was reliving meeting his wife and romance on our time without considering that it might not be why we went to Cuba. I was put in horrid accommodations and was infested with bedbugs - my face swelled beyond belief from bites early in the trip and I had a difficult time ridding these bugs from my life. Later I learned that two women from the group got a refund. I had decided to move on and try to forget the whole fiasco. But now I receive a request from Cultural crossroads for my review, so that spurred my memory of the most unforgettable and horrific trip I have ever been on - and I paid a substantial sum for this torture. Leif/owner was my guide and can verify that what I share is factual. I feel a small compensation for what I went through would be a refund check for the full amount of my trip from Cross Cultural Journeys.
