Amazing mentor! What Tailwind Talent gave me that my college didn't was a genuine mentor who was not only there to answer all my questions, but boost my confidence and profile as an applicant. My mentor reviewed my resume and gave me hard, constructive feedback, helped me create a general cover letter (for companies that required it), prepped me for interviews with behavioral/technical questions, offered applicable interview advice that makes you stand out as a candidate, and help you find the career that you want to do (or find the careers that you DON'T want to do). It was a lot of time and effort we spent making sure I can be the best candidate possible, but in the end, I received a total of 3 SWE job offers in the Fall 2020 semester (virtual) and accepted 2 of them. Can't thank Tailwind Talent enough!

Great benefits! First foremost, I got an offer letter thanks to the talented people from Tailwind Talent! They have an excellent structure for curating the companies that best fit you and provide great feedback during a mock-technical interview. Without Tailwind Talent, I would not have known my mistake that I been making during interviews. A criticism. The resume and cover letter edits can be improved by scheduling meetings with the client and discussing the changes and reasons behind them; instead of offline editing from the mentor. With a meeting, the client can ask questions and discuss in detail the resume changes while the mentor is active with them. Two ideas. I like to see more services for clients after they receive an offer letter. The assistance to negotiate a better offer is a great service to have, but I felt there should be more. Two ideas. A service to connect with the company's employees, associated with the offer letter, so; the client can build a connection to the company. The client can, then, have a strong connection with the people in the company and likely have a better chance for a full-time offer. Another service is to provide the clients an array of courses (through a partnership or own budget) that is tailored to the tools and software used by the client's internship.

Caring and insightful I received great support from them, truly opening my experiences to job-search knowledge and preparation. They took the time to personally understand my career goals while giving me feedback along the way. For example, they gave insightful resume suggestions and memorable tips for tackling interviews. Although I stopped before I got the full experience, it was because I found them too late in the application/interview process. Nonetheless, they were flexible and encouraging. It seemed like all they wanted was to cherish my success in landing an internship. They have since worked hard to accommodate an earlier process start, and I genuinely appreciate the efforts of this company to continuously improve operations.

Very helpful and supportive program I really enjoyed my time in the Tailwind Talent program! I had an amazing mentor who helped me every step of the way in the job application process from helping me find companies that I found interesting to helping with offer negotiations. The internship/job application process can feel lonely and challenging. But the Tailwind Talent team did a wonderful job of creating an encouraging community and that helped me stay motivated. They helped me review my resume/cover letter, set up mock interviews, and be more prepared which helped me get multiple internship offers. I didn't have any internship experience before and without their help, I wouldn't have gotten the offers I got. So, I think this program is super helpful for people looking for internships or jobs.
