Excellent travel experience!!! I would highly recommend Apex Himalayas and have already passed on their details to a few friends. My friends and I completed the Manaslu and Tsum valley trek over a three-week period. Our experience was positive from the start INITIAL BOOKING: We were communicating with Bimal and Bikram from Australia. They were super organised and responded to all our queries in a timely manner. They took time to understand our needs, gave good advice and were open to altering the itinerary to suit our needs. ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU: I recall the warm and hassle-free reception. We knew we were in good hands. They provided us with good walking poles and gaiters as promised. It was also reassuring to know that the itinerary was flexible in case of injuries etc. DURING THE TREK: We had a great guide, Tshiring Sherpa and porters Rajan & Madan. They went to great lengths to look after us. We were each able to walk at our own pace and stop when we wanted for Masala Chai! A few days into the trek, we realised that Rajan & Madan were kindly carrying fresh fruit for us as this was difficult to come by. We were touched! And a big thank you to them from the bottom of my heart for helping us through the river crossings and the ‘goat tracks’ along the way! It is hard to describe in words the bond we were able to build over the three weeks. ARRIVA BACK: Thank you to Bimal and his family for the warmth and affection they greeted us back with. It was my friend’s birthday and Bimal went through great efforts to organise a surprise dinner for her. Bimal and the team truly went beyond the call of duty. I am already planning my next trip with Apex!
