COWorldpackers changed my life positively I can say that Worldpackers changed my life positively. 5 years ago I started traveling as a volunteer, it was my first approach to a true life of travel, since I had no money. Not only did I meet wonderful people and places, I also improved many skills both at work and on a personal level, which has helped me create portfolios as a professional and relate better to people (both from my culture and from others). I can say that it was not only a way to save money, since all those learnings quickly began to generate money, enough to continue traveling to any destination I wanted, so now when I volunteer (because I still do it from time to time) , I do it just for the pleasure, not for the money. Of course, with so many volunteers for so many years I had some unpleasant experiences, but I always had the support of the support, so I definitely would not dare to volunteer outside the Worldpackers platform.

NZUnethical business Be careful with what you read online about Worldpackers - these guys are paying people to post good reviews about them online. I am a micro travel influencer and was approached by them to do sponsored post. I have no previous experience with their website so have signed up to their platform, and I was shocked to find out that there’s absolutely no control of host qualities. Many of their hosts are businesses and they are blatantly using travellers to replace cheap labours. Worldpackers do not give a s*** … There are way better companies out there offering much more genuine services in the same industry.

PHUse workaway for better and more opportunities Must take lots of time creating a detailed profile. Must pay some money. I reached out to quite a few in different countries for different types of jobs. Either few responses, rejections or moved to another platform and ghosted. Don't want to pay anymore. Not easy to cancel it's not just deactivate or delete. You must contact someone. And they told me I can only get refunded in credits since I've used it. Thats pretty much a scam to me. Ensure proper client to vendor transparency as a platform if your charging money and requiring us to fill out lots of information about ourselves in profiles and in volunteer apps.

MYEncounter of a 3rd kind volunteer/helper. I had a bad experience with a volunteer who came to help us a month ago, but honestly speaking I'd an encounter with a "Mafia like volunteer' He's a violent volunteer & he really scared me much because he easily got angry & screaming at me, about five of us presence. Neigbours were staring from three corners of the residence houses. We tried to calm down though he's still screaming at us. When he was not screaming at me anymore, he's threatening by ways of his body language. He banged my car so hard that the windscreen could have cracked!! The van that he borrowed from us, though his off day, was with petrol-empty & requested us to pull our van to the Petrol- station for refill. Later, I need to call a mechanic to repair as its engine was not functioning! These were some of the scary experiences but the rest I'll not write as it's very discouraging........ When he wrote review to Worldpackers.com Team about me it's untruth that he's presenting to the company team, saying that we didn't provide meals & not fulfilling our agreement & contract. Because of this reason, my Profile in worldpackers.com had gone down to 4 stars! So, this was a unreasonable, thoughtless, unfair & fraud review by a volunteer that came to my guesthouse. I hope worldpackers.com will look into this fraud review by a "gangster-like" volunteer.

EGI do not recommend using this… I do not recommend using this application because there are many defects and the volunteer offers are old and not up to date. They also do not want to refund money because I sent volunteer requests and they are all expired or closed. There is no acceptance to refuse to refund adding people.
