Adelante went above and beyond! Adelante went above and beyond with helping me file for my visa and any other documents. They were very straightforward about pricing, and I was very happy about my internship and housing placement. From your first phone call to your final day in Spain, they will help you with any problem that might arise. They made the visa process very simple for me and even helped me get college credit for my legal internship abroad. They have excursions that you can take a part in, and you will meet amazing people through those excursions and events! I did a legal internship in Barcelona, and was very happy with my placement and the work I participated in. There is plenty of time to explore the city or to visit other countries in Europe. Barcelona is an extremely diverse place in which you will meet people from all around the world! The Kingsbrook school is an incredible place to meet new people! My housing was astounding, and I really enjoyed my roommates. My apartment was located in a great part of Barcelona, and was right next to a metro stop.

My internship abroad was an incredible… My internship abroad was an incredible experience. I learned a lot and my Spanish improved even further because I was able to use it every day with my host family when you are out and about, and with my coworkers. The staff was organized and responsive. However, I would recommend that the Spanish courses should be based on the level of Spanish because I found it not interesting because I had to learn the greetings and grammar. I did find the Chilean Spanish, food, and culture part of the course informative and fun! Thank you

Thanks God for this amount of not smart… Thanks God for this amount of not smart ppl. They call their position volunteer. But you have to give them your time and services and experience and you have to pay them on top of all of that too. And ppl actually volunteer to get scammed! I mean they can go solo and have a great time and use that money to travel better. But hey! why not give your money to some agency so they can make you work for free!

Wonderful immersive internship abroad Interning abroad with Adelante was the experience of a lifetime. I interned as a mechanical engineering student at a creative coworking lab called Makerspace where I got to collaborate on innovative projects using 3D printers, laser cutters, and other cool tools with my coworkers in the lab. I also had the wonderful experience of leading a workshop in Spanish on 3D design in SolidWorks. My coworkers were extremely welcoming and made a strong effort to help me navigate Chilean culture and traveling as well as spending time with me outside of work! COVID definitely had a negative impact on the experience, as it made travel difficult and made half of my time at the internship virtual. Also, there were very few participants in the program, so it was a struggle to find friends to do things with. Nonetheless, the experience was overall very rewarding, and I highly recommend this program.

Had the best time! I did a legal internship in Oaxaca for three months with Adelante and it exceeded my expectations. I met the best people and lived in a great location with a kind host family and the best internship placement. My spanish has definitely improved thanks to the spanish lessons at the beginning as well as all the other people I met including those at my internship who were very patient and taught me a lot of legal and complex terms. If you are independent and enjoy exploring the city and having great opportunities for cultural immersion and meeting new people this is definitely a great program and excellent value for money. It really helped with my university application and I will definitely be returning to Oaxaca!
