Talroo Insights Back in 2021, I stumbled across an infographic on “Why is it so hard to hire?” put out by Talroo Insights in response to COVID-19. It shared why job seekers weren’t accepting jobs during the pandemic and what employers could do to attract more workers. Talroo also defined what wasn’t that important to employees versus what was. Lastly, they shared labor market insights. As a data person, I was fascinated and looked into their services. Turns out that was a great decision because they’ve helped fine-tune our recruiting strategy to bring in the talent. Any small hiccups in the beginning were corrected quickly, so we are pleased overall.

I cannot give this company a good… I cannot give this company a good review. I want services, but will only get services if I'm able to have all information that I need and want from any business. Pricing is one, they have a pricing tab to go to. This only gives description on 3 options, no pricing. Not good, I definitely want to see the prices. Next, I they demand a business email to do anything with them. They don't consider businesses that only use email addresses from like Gmail, yahoo, outlook, Hotmail, etc. This is discrimination. And next, you pretty much have to fill out a form at nearly every step. Due to these 3 issues alone, this isn't a company that I will work with or even recommend for that matter. If they fix these issues, then they may get a better review.

The price is right Though we all want results with job advertising, we also want our investment to count. Talroo seems to nail both of these. We’ve experienced not only more candidates but also more suitable candidates. I would say the biggest benefit of working with Talroo has been the ability to use qualifying questions to filter job seekers and match them to our defined criteria. Again, so worth the money of doing business with them.

Problem Solving 101 When it comes to working with Talroo, what I love most is having candidates delivered to us with qualifications that actually fit our needs. After COVID-19, everyone was searching for a job online and started applying left and right, even if it wasn’t a remote job and even if their qualifications didn’t match. We had to cull through so many unqualified or remote-only applicants. (It was exhausting… anyone in Talent Acquisition knows what I’m talking about.) Enter Talroo and their services to remedy that problem. Their platform and algorithm has helped my hiring department increase needed bandwidth and send job offers more quickly to candidates who actually match our needs.
