GBI find having a choice for electric has…beneficial! I find having a choice for electric has benefited our cost of operating our home. However I find the rates quoted on a weekly basis are not true in a number of cases when I go to the actual website. Also I have in the past locked in a 12 month rate but am finding currently the least expensive fixed rates are only 3 months! Obviously requiring me to continually check on rates!

GBYou get billed for using a third party… You get billed for using a third party provider which adds to your bill, plus Electricrate ended up costing me 50.00 because they told me it was time to renew or change providers. I changed providers on the date THEY gave me. I got an email from my previous provider stating that I left my contract 5 months too early and I had to pay a 50.00 penalty because of it. I do not recommend Electricrate, and seem to be trapped. There's no way to unsubscribe on their site. Do not join any rate comparison site, they are all 3rd party billers.

GBThe experience overall was good but The experience overall was good. The one issue I had was when the the new electric rate plan would take effect? I wanted it to start as soon as my previous plan would expire so I wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee. I would hope that this would be coordinated with the new provider. Not sure if this was done?

GBEasy to work with, but find your rate quickly Easy to work with. A little confusing around rate because I live in New Jersey so it felt a little bait and switch (unintentional). Nice to feel power dollars going to renewable sources.

GBI suggest you to check their website! They gather different utility rates and info. in one place and his makes your work much easier. I could find the lowest rate from their website (after going through several providers for comparison!). I am in Chicago, IL
