Don't use Folder Protector Folder protector does not work, and Kaka couldn't care less. I wrote the following (below) to them via their contact email, and they brushed me off with a shrug of the shoulders. "I use Windows 8.1. I downloaded Folder Protector to give it a try before purchasing. The program protects a folder located in the main folder that contains all my photographs, and, to my surprise, when I used the search box in that open folder (the main folder), the supposedly hidden photographs in the protected folder were displayed too. I did an experiment. I opened the protected folder and, before unlocking the protected file, I did a search and, surprise surprise, the protected photographs were displayed and can be opened, viewed, and copied. What is the point of having an encrypted folder if a simple search will reveal what is in it?"

Honest Review I bought from them, had a problem that a Feature was not working, still no answer 48 Hours Later

Bought the 10 drive lifetime USB… Bought the 10 drive lifetime USB Security. Stopped working after 4 drives (tab comes up saying I used my 10 drives limit). Tried to contact company through their web-site and direct email - got NO REPLY. So, obviously, no customer support as they advertise. It's a great product - but once you buy it your on your own.

The free version used to be pretty good Their free software was pretty good before. I used to use their products, but you should wait up to a min with the recent version. It was around 10-20 sec before. It's getting worse. The paid version is too pricy and the free version useless. Who does want to wait a min to unlock a folder? I decided to stop using their products as we have tons of better options. Goodbye, KakaSoft~
