FRRotten posts in not even two years ! I purchased 35 wood posts from Intergard in September 2020. They are described as being of excellent quality and very long lasting chestnut. However, in February 2022, four poles were broken because they were eaten away by humidity. In January 2023, about twenty posts had rotted away in the ground. My fence has half fallen to the ground. Mushrooms have even grown on parts that are not in contact with the ground. The chestnut tree is very resistant to rot thanks to its hardness and its tannin. After two years, I have to change all the poles because those which remain are rotting. This is not normal. The durability of this wood is at least 10 years and more like 15 years. Do not buy this product from Intergard. They say that the poles do not support moisture. So why sell these poles? The quality is not there. Look for it at the farmers' stores.
