I have not used the extinguisher… I have not used the extinguisher thankfully but getting it was painless and quick. The old maxim holds true you get what you pay for. This is no exception. As a career firefighter i have used lots of extinguishers and put out lots of car fires. Your typical dry chemical extinguisher puts out lots of fire and works well. But if you spent four years building your own car like i did the last thing you want to do is ruin an otherwise perfectly good engine with drychem if you do not need to. Yes it is not cheap to go this route but neither is an engine.
