After much research I determined Ravenol oil was a good substitute for Toyota OEM oil for my 4Runner’s diff and transfer case fluid changes. The unique bottle design, once mastered, made filling the cases easy. Beware there is a bit of a learning curve to using the spouts incorporated into the bottles, but the spouts work well. I have no issues so far, and my transfer case shifts from 4L to 4H smoothly.
