About the Ravelco Anti-Theft Device This small device is installed in the dash. Remove the plug and the vehicle will not start. Designed to work AGAINST the way thieves steal vehicles Thieves go straight to the car’s weak point to steal it: the wires under the dash. Every wire they need to start the car is there. Very convenient Very convenient. The installer came to my job to do the installation. Great customer service. Everyone was personable and courteous from the person who initially helped me to the installer. I would highly recommend getting Ravelco for your vehicle. It works as advertised, which I found out….unfortunately…or should I say fortunately. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Installation was sloppy with very… Installation was sloppy with very little attention to detail Metal shavings from drilling left behind in engine bay driver side firewall / grease on driver side door arm rest / panel screw stripped that had never been removed and left on driver side floor mat. Installer stated it was like that. Instrument cluster light was out after installation, called customer service and explained the situation and the male representative was very rude and unfriendly. No solution or help from Ravelco was reached or offered.

GTA prevented Chevy Silverado SS I’ve had a Ravelco system on my 2004 Silverado SS for about 18 years. An attempt was made to steal my truck yesterday however, they were unsuccessful. The door key lock & ignition was “punched” luckily the Ravelco system worked as expected. Nothing taken from my truck either. My next car will also be equipped with a Ravelco. Highly recommend of course!

The install and customer service was… The install and customer service was superior. The technician was very impressive with his knowledge and attention to detail. I completely do not think twice about my vehicle being stolen anymore. If the thief can pull it up onto a tow truck and drag it off then I can’t stop that, but hot-wiring or getting it started without the pin fob installed in almost impossible. The thief would have to try thousands of different wiring combinations to even come close to getting the right connection. I sleep well knowing I have Ravelco on my 2020 F-250. Great install experience!!!! Great install experience!!!! I was in a hurry to install on a pristine vintage Astro van before a long trip to the Midwest from Arizona. The installer went out of his way to meet me in Scottsdale (I live in Tucson) to install before my trip which was awesome! I already had a Ravelco on my pickup and really liked the security feeling, which is why I picked it again. On newer vehicles, the installation with computer based electronics blocks cranking completely. On the older van from pre- computer ECM era, the starter still cranks but the power feed to the distributor is blocked so it cranks but will not start.
