Replacing the Evap canister myself… Replacing the Evap canister myself using a GENUINE Toyota part saved me a bunch and was easy to do . The only challenge was disconnecting one of the 3 hoses , which is not the fault of the new part. Once I had it off , the part swap went smoothly . It corrected the problem and has not come back .

Bad packaging The correct part arrived on time, but was damaged in shipping. The packaging of the part left a corner of it in contact with the side of the box, which should not have been the case with something so fragile (tail light lens).
