While other sites have a limitations of how many free searches you can make, I literally searched hundreds over the couple of years. It might not have the detailed maintenance records as Carfax, but accident reports and NHTSA recalls are no less precious informations you're getting for free

As good as carfax and FREE !!! I've been looking to buy a couple used vehicles and have been purchasing carfax reports which are relatively expensive. I came across VehicleHistory.com after reading a US News & World article on how to research used vehicles. The reports are free by VIN number and they are as comprehensive as a carfax report. Very Good Used Car I got this car after having a 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer for 7 years. I thought the Ford Edge was great. And I still do like it. It has great pickup and I got it with 42,000 miles on it and it was already 4 years old. I have it today and I think it is a good Ford product. I would buy a 2016 or 2017 if I could. I love the power I got in it and I have enough room for 3 children and groceries or other equipment I need for soccer, basketball and football season. Thanks!
