Made the best out of a really bad situation. I have been taking my truck to service shop for a while now. They are supposed to check and top off all the fluids, lubricate the chassis, and check all the lights. A full service kind of place. Apparently they never checked the transmission fluid properly and it ran low and burned up my transmission. It's my only car. While their bid to rebuild the transmission costed a bit more, their warranty is worth the extra money. They worked really hard to get me back up and running as quickly as possible and Melinda was so nice about the whole thing. I really appreciate all their hard work.

These folks are great These folks are great, I had a fully blown transfer case in my 2011 ford escape that I'm still making payments on, and it's my work vehicle so it had to be back on the road, a new case is about $4500.00 off the shelf with labor, really steep, they found a used one for $1400.00 with labor and a decent warranty, a huge savings! They were friendly reliable and professional, the whole experience kept the stress level to a minimum and I have logged some several 1000 miles on the replacement case with no problems. I would take any trans issues to them and recommend them highly.

Defiantly deserve a sixth star. Had them receive an ATS built transmission for my 07 dodge 3500 and install it along with them adding external cooler and fan. And also the copilot lockup controller. They did an outstanding job. There was a problem after the install that was no fault of theirs. The valve body installed by ATS was faulty. They went the extra effort to help diagnose the fault and replace it after receiving the replacement from ATS. I highly recommend Cottman for any transmission service or repairs.
