The Best Mechanics Around I truly am grateful to have found a trusted, professional, organized, efficient, time-wise auto mechanics at Cottman's of Waldorf. From the first day they exhibited care and concern for my vehicle. They presented options that I could choose from and then proceeded to complete my request. I thought maybe I had to wait possibly 2 weeks to get some type of results, but I was contacted in 3 days notifying my vehicle was ready. A rebuilt transmission in 3 days!, I'll take that service any day. Mr & Mrs Ken, Mr Bill and our mechanic Mr Brad, YOU ROCK! Thank God for Cottman's!

Polite but poor performance. I rarely write reviews but I had to follow through with writing this to not only inform the consumer but also just maybe someone will take notice and make some changes. Let me start by saying that the staff at Cottman of Waldorf was nothing but polite. The manager Bill really is an asset to the company. I had some work done 4 months prior to this last visit and that experience caused me to return for more work. Well this last experience will cause me to look elsewhere for mechanic work. I had to return my vehicle three times before it felt safe enough to drive and it still is not where I feel that a quality work was performed. I had to end up taking my truck somewhere else to complete the work.

I took my vehicle in for a transmission… I took my vehicle in for a transmission check. I was told the repair was 4k. I told Bill I probably won't move forward with the repair. They were polite and patient while I made my decision. I told them I would sell the vehicle. Once I picked up the vehicle, to take directly to be sold that's when the shift occurred. They left SEVERAL screws in the cup holder area, large rusted looking parts on the floor in the vehicle it was HORRIBLE. Why would a business take apart pieces of the vehicle and not put them back together after the owner decided not to move forward with the repair? I truly don't understand. If I took my vehicle to the dealership, Goodyear, any repair shop I don't expect large parts and screws to be left in the vehicle when I pick it up if I opted to not move forward with repairs. I told them I was selling the vehicle the day I picked it up obviously I needed it to look as pristine as when I brought it in. The way they left my vehicle was horrible, unprofessional and Bad Business I'm very disappointed.. If I could attach the photos I would... I won't be taking another vehicle to them.

Great Service I took my tacoma to Cottmans a few days ago without an appointment. They were sincerely concerned and provided a transmission check and estimate. Although it wasn't the news I wanted, knowing that, Cottmans took the time to explain what was not functioning properly and provided a couple of solutions. I would definitely return to Cottman's for service.

As a customer I wasnt treated right I… As a customer I wasnt treated right I returned with my vehicle to have 2 issues checked and both issues were diverted. When i had my engine installed they changed my intake manifold which caused a evap leak setting off my chest k engine light. I now have p codes for both converters. I tried to explain but Bill wouldnt listen to me he clearly put it on something else. I then told Bill that my a/c wasnt working and before he checked my truck he told me that I must have a leak in my system I tried telling him that it worked fine before the install but Bill insisted that I have a new leak in my system. I've been to this location with a few cars and sent people there for work but now I see how they treat customers after they get the money I will never go back or recommend this location to anyone as a matter of fact this will be on my ig and my youtube pages as well as my groupme pages. Never Again
